
KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 7): Vestland Bhd (KL:VLB) has redesignated Datuk Liew Foo Heen and Datuk Seri Soo Sze Ching as joint group managing directors, effective immediately.
Liew, 48, was redesignated from his group managing director post, while Soo, 50, was redesignated from executive director and group CEO, according to bourse filings on Friday.
As joint managing directors, Liew will oversee the group’s building and construction segment, while Soo will oversee the infrastructure segment.
Liew co-founded core unit Vestland Resources Sdn Bhd in 2011 and has served as managing director since 2016.
He has been on the holding company Vestland’s board since its inception in 2021 and was redesignated as group managing director in March 2022.
As for Soo, he was appointed Vestland CEO in December 2025. He joined the board as executive director in February this year.
Shares of Vestland ended one sen or 1.45% higher at 70 sen on Friday, valuing the company at RM656.23 million.
