(Aug 3): KKR-backed supply chain firm LEAP India is seeking a valuation of about 70 billion rupees (US$733.91 million) for its US$260 million initial public offering (IPO), according to a newspaper advertisement and the company's red herring prospectus.

The IPO will open for public subscription on Aug 7 and close on Aug 11.

The IPO comprises of a fresh issue of shares worth US$50.3 million and an offer for sale of US$209.7 million of shares.

KKR-backed Vertical Holdings II will sell shares worth US$209.5 million in IPO, while promoter group KIA EBT Scheme 3 will sell remaining shares.

Anchor investors can bid for shares on Aug 6, while the shares are expected to begin trading on Aug 14.

LEAP India is a tech-enabled asset pooling services company, with a network of 30 warehouses, seven outsourced pallet manufacturing units, over 900 customers, and more than 3,250 employees.

LEAP India reported 66% jump in net profit for fiscal year 2026 at 623.4 million rupees, while its revenue rose 56.4% to 7.3 billion rupees.
