KUALA LUMPUR (July 29): AME Real Estate Investment Trust (KL:AMEREIT) reported a 19.6% increase in net property income (NPI) for the first quarter, driven by contributions from four newly acquired properties and higher rental rates from tenancy renewals.

NPI for the three months ended June 30, 2026 (1QFY2027) rose to RM15.24 million from RM12.74 million a year earlier. Quarterly revenue grew 17.7% to RM16.64 million from RM14.14 million a year ago, the REIT’s bourse filing showed on Wednesday.

Distributable income climbed 10.3% year-on-year (y-o-y) to RM11.45 million in 1QFY2027, from RM10.38 million.

The REIT declared an interim income distribution of 2.15 sen per unit — an increase of 9.7% from 1.96 sen paid a year ago — payable on Sept 3.

AME REIT expects to deliver a favourable performance for the financial year ending March 31, 2027 (FY2027), supported by its portfolio of industrial and industrial-related properties, which maintained a 100% occupancy rate.

AME REIT’s current portfolio comprises 41 industrial and industrial-related assets.
