KUALA LUMPUR (July 21): Stratus Global Holdings Bhd (KL:STRATUS) said it could expand its order book by two to four times in the next 12 months based on current talks with new and existing customers.

“We are now [in the middle of] very active and serious discussions with major customers, existing and new,” according to Stratus Global chief executive officer Ryo Narisawa. “Within 12 months, we are going to boost our order book by the factor of at least two, maybe even four times.”

Revenue is expected to strengthen over the next fiscal year, if not the next, following a dry period amid geopolitical and supply chain uncertainties, he added.

Narisawa was speaking at a news conference following the marquee listing of Stratus Global on the Main Market on Tuesday.

The stock more than doubled in its maiden trade as investors rushed for a piece of the company specialising in automated material handling systems for the semiconductor industry.

The stellar debut defies cooling sentiment for global technology stocks, and comes hot on the heels of Stratus Global’s IPO that saw its shares oversubscribed by 129 times by retail investors.

Ahead of the listing, the company reported that net profit fell 23% to RM51.1 million in the financial year ended March 2026, while revenue declined 11% to RM197.1 million due to low billings and the completion of older projects.
