KUALA LUMPUR (July 16): Cleanroom services provider iCents Group Holdings Bhd (KL:ICENTS) said its wholly owned subsidiary VC Engineering Sdn Bhd has a secured a RM12.9 million contract to carry out renovation works for a factory, warehouse, and office in the Klang Valley.

In a filing on Bursa Malaysia, the group said the contract was awarded by a Malaysian subsidiary of a Netherlands-based technology company that serves the semiconductor, medical and life sciences industries, as well as infrastructure and energy sectors. Both identities of the companies were not disclosed in the filing.

Under the contract, VC Engineering will be responsible for building works, interior finishing, mechanical and electrical installations, extra low voltage (ELV) systems, plumbing and sanitary works, fire protection systems, as well as testing and commissioning. 

iCents Group said the project is scheduled to be completed within four months from its commencement date, which was also not disclosed in the filing.

It added that the project is expected to contribute positively to the group’s earnings and net assets for the financial year ending June 30, 2027, through to the project’s completion.

At noon break on Thursday, iCents Group’s shares were up by four sen or 6.3% to 68 sen. At its last price, the group had a market value of RM340 million. Year-to-date, the counter has increased by 65.9%.
