<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The party's leaders, Datuk Seri Mohd Rafizi Ramli, Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad and Syukri Razab, said in a joint statement on Wednesday that the decision was made after taking into consideration current developments in Negeri Sembilan, as well as time and resource constraints.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"An initial preparatory meeting for the Melaka state election will be held on July 21 to identify seats&nbsp;and begin screening prospective candidates so that they can be announced well in advance," they said.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The Election Commission has fixed Aug 1 as the polling day for the Negeri Sembilan state election, with nomination scheduled for this Saturday and early voting on July 28.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In the Johor state election on July 11, Bersama, contesting for the first time, failed to win any of the 15 seats it contested.</p></div>
