KUALA LUMPUR (July 14): A groundbreaking ceremony was held on Tuesday for the new campus of SJK (T) Ladang Labu Bahagian 4, marking a key milestone in expanding educational infrastructure within the MVV City township in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.
According to a press statement on Tuesday, the development of the school is made possible through a collaborative effort involving approximately RM8.9 million in mobilised funds, where Matrix Concepts Holdings Bhd (KL:MATRIX) is contributing 50% and the remaining portion was secured through fundraising initiatives led by the school's Board of Governors alongside community stakeholders.
The milestone event was officiated by Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek. Also in attendance were Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh; Negeri Sembilan state executive council member Arul Kumar Jambunathan; Rasah member of parliament Cha Kee Chin; NS Corporation CEO Norazhar Musa; Matrix Concepts group managing director Kelvin Lee; Negeri Sembilan State Education Department director Khalidah Omar; Matrix Concepts property development division co-CEO Tan Sze Chee; and SJK (T) Ladang Labu Bahagian 4 chairman of the board of governors Navajeevan Ramasamy.
The modern campus is scheduled for completion within the next 12 months. The new facility is built to support a significantly larger student population as residential and economic developments expand within MVV City. The upgraded campus will feature enhanced learning resources, including academic blocks with 12 classrooms, modern science and computer rooms, a dedicated library, preschool facilities, a multipurpose hall, and a full-sized football field.
Lee noted that the development reflects the company's 30th anniversary vision of creating future-ready ecosystems where families can thrive and access critical community facilities alongside residential expansion.

MVV City is an integrated development project spanning 2,382 acres and is being undertaken by Matrix Concepts in partnership with the Negeri Sembilan government through NS Corporation.
