KUALA LUMPUR (July 3): Mesiniaga Bhd (KL:MSNIAGA) has secured a RM39.99 million contract from Pharmaniaga Logistics Sdn Bhd to provide new centralised server infrastructure for the Pharmacy Information System (PhIS) Version 3.0.

According to its filing with Bursa Malaysia on Friday, the information technology services provider said it accepted the award on Thursday.

The contract, which includes sales and service tax, is scheduled to be completed by June 30, 2030, with no automatic renewal clause.

Mesiniaga said the contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets from the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 until its completion.

The main risks involve meeting the service-level commitments and deadlines set by Pharmaniaga Logistics, though Mesiniaga said it has taken steps to mitigate them.

Mesiniaga provides digital infrastructure, data centre, cloud, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence solutions, while Pharmaniaga Logistics is the logistics and distribution arm of Pharmaniaga Bhd (KL:PHARMA).

Pharmaniaga called for tenders for the PhIS 3.0 centralised server infrastructure in March.

Mesiniaga’s shares were unchanged at RM1.14 at noon break on Friday, valuing the company at RM68.9 million. Year to date, the stock is down almost 16%.
