KUALA LUMPUR (June 22): LFE Corp Bhd (KL:LFECORP) has bagged a RM16.22 million contract from Puncak Concept Sdn Bhd involving the supply of materials and construction services of piling, pile caps and associated works for a proposed development in Cyberjaya, Selangor.

The contract constitutes a related-party transaction, as LFE executive chairman and substantial shareholder Chuah Chong Ewe is also a director and shareholder of Puncak Concept.

Chuah held a combined stake of 30.9% in the LFE Corp as at April 6, 2026, of which 13.84% are direct stakes, its annual report showed.

The company, however, did not disclose further details of the proposed development, including its gross development value, type of project or ultimate developer.

The seven-month contract commenced on June 20, 2026 and is scheduled for completion by Jan 20, 2027.

LFE said the contract is expected to contribute positively to the company’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2026 and until the completion of the project. 

The stock is trading at a 12-month trailing price-earnings ratio (PER) of 10.7 times, according to AskEdge data. This compares to Crest Group Bhd’s (KL:CREST) PER of 13.8 times,  Fibromat (M) Bhd’s (KL:FIBRO) PER of 10.9 times and GFM Services Bhd’s (KL:GFM) PER of 8.3 times.

LFE’s share price closed unchanged at 14.5 sen on Monday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM169 million.
