KUALA LUMPUR (June 19): Vestland Bhd (KL:VLB) has secured a RM65 million contract to undertake piling and substructure works for a serviced apartment in Jalan Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur.

In a bourse filing on Friday, the company said the contract was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary, Vestland Infra Sdn Bhd, by Scanwolf Trading & Construction Sdn Bhd.

The job involves the design and build of the foundation system, including piling and substructure works for a block of 74-storey serviced apartment, including car parks, basement, shop lots, and related facilities.

Vestland said the two-year contract is expected to contribute positively to its earnings and net assets over the duration of the project.

Vestland reported a net profit of RM8.08 million for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026, up from RM7.81 million a year earlier. Revenue rose 26.73% to RM199.48 million from RM157.4 million.

As at March 31, Vestland had a net debt position of RM395.97 million with cash and cash equivalent of RM20.67 million, exceeding borrowings of RM416.64 million.

Vestland shares closed up two and a half sen or 4.59% at 57 sen, valuing the company at RM538.3 million. Over the past one year, the stock has gained 26.67%.
