
SHAH ALAM (June 15): Powerwell Holdings Bhd (KL:PWRWELL), and its wholly-owned subsidiary Kejuruteraan Powerwell Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM158.8 million contract, its largest to date, to supply and deliver low-voltage switchboards for an undisclosed international contractor. The contract is to be fulfilled by March 2027.
In a statement on Monday, the company said the contract is its largest to date. It is also its second large-scale contract in 2026, after it secured a RM68.5 million job in January.
The company said the contract was awarded by a repeat customer, underscoring continued confidence in the group.
The group’s order book stood at RM150.8 million as of end-March 2026, excluding the latest contract. It also has a strong tender pipeline, with ongoing bids in data centres, renewable energy, semiconductors, and infrastructure.
Powerwell’s shares were unchanged on Monday at 80 sen a share, valuing the company at RM487.66 million. Over the past year it has gone up more than 66%.
