KUALA LUMPUR (June 8): Zetrix AI Bhd (KL:ZETRIX), formerly known as MyEG Services Bhd, said its Philippine joint venture MyEG Philippines Inc has signed multiple agreements with government agencies to provide digital payment services.

In a statement on Monday, Zetrix AI said MyEG Philippines has signed agreements with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) and Land Bank of the Philippines, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA), and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to expand its electronic payment and collection system (EPCS) platform.

The first quadripartite agreement between MyEG Philippines, PRC, BTr and Land Bank will enable the integration of MyEG Philippines’ EPCS into various government systems, including PRC’s licensure and registration platform, allowing payments for services such as examinations, renewals and certifications, as well as electronic documentary stamp tax (eDST).

The PRC is the licensing and regulatory agency of the national government for the practice of regulated professions.

Separately, the partnership with the PPA, which is state-owned and under the purview of the Department of Transportation for management and regulation of the country’s port system, will integrate the EPCS into its e-payment portal, enabling port stakeholders to settle fees such as accreditation, permits, wharfage and cargo handling charges through more than 100,000 payment channels nationwide, including e-wallets, banks, cards, over-the-counter outlets and QR-based payments.

The BFAR agreement, meanwhile, further expands the group’s footprint in government digital services, supporting the agency’s role in managing and developing the country’s fisheries and aquatic resources.

BFAR is under the Department of Agriculture and is responsible for the development, improvement, management and conservation of the country’s fisheries and aquatic resources.

Zetrix AI was the most traded stock on Bursa Malaysia on Monday, with 96.47 million shares changing hands. The stock, however, fell 0.5 sen to close at 82 sen, giving it a market capitalisation of RM6.6 billion.
