KUALA LUMPUR (May 25): Censof Holdings Bhd (KL:CENSOF) announced it has secured two contracts from the Inland Revenue Board (IRB) worth a combined RM19.9 million, involving the development and enhancement of tax-related systems.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the technology and software developer said its subsidiary Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd received two letters of acceptance from the IRB for system development, enhancement and maintenance works.

The first contract, valued at RM8.7 million, covers the development and enhancement of application modules, renewal of software licences, as well as maintenance and support services for the IRB’s Hasil International Data Exchange Facility (HIDEF) system.

The contract runs from June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2029.

HIDEF is a secure digital portal used by financial institutions and multinational companies to transmit tax-related financial data directly to the IRB in an automated format.

The second contract, worth RM11.2 million, involves upgrading the IRB’s Hasil Financial Integrated System (HFIS), including system enhancements and support services aimed at improving the agency’s financial management operations. The HFIS is the IRB’s core internal financial management system.

The contract period runs from June 1, 2026 to May 31, 2029.

Censof said the latest contract wins reinforce its position as a technology partner to Malaysia’s public sector, particularly in financial management systems and digital infrastructure solutions.

“These latest awards reflect continued confidence in Censof’s capabilities in delivering reliable and mission-critical digital solutions for the public sector,” said group managing director Ameer Shaik Mydin in a statement.

The contracts mark Censof’s third public sector-related job secured this month.

Last week, the company announced a RM17.8 million contract from the Federal Territory Islamic Religious Council for the development of an integrated accounting and financial management system compliant with government and Islamic accounting standards.

Censof shares fell half a sen, or 2.5%, to 19.5 sen at Monday’s close, valuing the group at RM107.7 million.
