<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The 68-year-old first joined the group — then known as Bahvest Resources Bhd — as executive director in May 2023, and was appointed CEO five days later. He succeeded former CEO Lo Fui Ming, who resigned in mid-2023 amid challenges including boardroom disputes, a regulatory raid and a suspension of mining operations.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>In a separate filing, Aumas said Wong Ji Yung has been redesignated as chief financial officer from his previous role as chief operating officer. Wong also serves as the group’s executive director.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Aumas’ share price, which has fallen over 13% year to date, closed unchanged at 50 sen on Monday. This gave the group a market capitalisation of RM910.75 million.</p></div>
