Positioned as the world’s only well-being chair, OSIM’s latest innovation combines AI-powered personalisation, global massage expertise and multi-sensory design into a new category of home wellness.

As expectations around wellness evolve, recovery is increasingly being treated as a functional requirement rather than an occasional indulgence. Consumers are also becoming more discerning, placing greater emphasis on solutions that are measurable, personalised and responsive to individual needs. It is within this context that OSIM Malaysia introduces the uDream·AI, a system designed to deliver a more structured and tailored approach to recovery at home within a 20-minute session.

Central to uDream·AI is a shift from passive recovery to a more data-informed and adaptive process. Powered by AI Wellness Technology developed in collaboration with Binah.ai, the system uses remote photoplethysmography via the OSIM app on a camera-enabled device to assess key physiological indicators, including heart rate, respiratory rate, blood pressure, oxygen saturation and stress levels in real time. These are translated into a personalised Stress Score, allowing the chair to recommend a programme aligned with the user’s current condition. The result is a more responsive and measurable approach to home wellness.

The product also reflects a broader evolution in massage technology, moving closer to the intuition and precision of trained practitioners. Rather than relying on standard pre-programmed settings, uDream·AI draws on the expertise of three world-class massage masters from Thailand, Japan and China, each representing distinct disciplines developed over decades. From the dynamic stretches of Thai massage, to the precision of Japanese Shiatsu and the restorative approach of Chinese Tui Na, these techniques are translated into a single system that can respond and adapt with greater nuance.

The result is a massage experience that moves beyond mechanical repetition, delivering a level of fluidity and responsiveness that more closely resembles human touch, helping to relieve tension, support circulation and restore balance.

The experience is further supported by a multi-sensory environment designed to reinforce recovery. Sound is powered by Devialet, the French audio brand known for its presence in premium environments such as business and first-class cabins, delivering high-fidelity acoustics that help regulate mood and reduce mental fatigue.

This is complemented by mood-light technology, scent innovation developed with dsm-firmenich and its EmotiWaves™ technology, which introduces carefully composed fragrances designed to influence emotional states, as well as an exclusive wellness tea co-created with TWG Tea. The specially curated, theine-free blend is designed to support the body’s transition into a more restful state. Together, these elements contribute to a more considered and cohesive recovery setting.

The product’s design reflects this approach. Inspired by the Chambered Nautilus and based on the Golden Ratio, the form creates a more enclosed and focused space. This has been recognised with the Red Dot Award 2026, reinforcing its positioning at the intersection of function and form.

More broadly, uDream·AI points to a shift in how wellness is being integrated into everyday life, moving from occasional use towards something more consistent, personalised and embedded within daily routines. In that sense, it reflects how the category is evolving in response to changing expectations.
