KUALA LUMPUR (April 22): Foodie Media Bhd (KL:FOODIE) posted a net profit of RM3.19 million for the second quarter ended Feb 28, 2026 (2QFY2026), mainly derived from its core digital media activities.

Compared to its previous quarter, the company’s net earnings were down 15.6% from RM3.78 million in 1QFY2026.

Quarterly revenue came in at RM13.19 million, higher than the RM12.56 million in the preceding quarter, largely driven by sponsored deals and social media influencer marketing posts from its content and creator segments. The content and creator segments contributed to about 86.6% or RM11.43 million of revenue.

The board declared its maiden dividend, comprising a first interim dividend of 0.32 sen per share and a special dividend of 0.21 sen per share, bringing to a total dividend of 0.53 sen per share — payable on May 25.

Its gross profit margin stayed stable at around 56.6%, which Foodie Media said reflects a consistent revenue mix and cost structure during the quarter.

“The digital media industry is rewiring how brands and consumers connect, and Malaysia is only at the start of that transformation. Our task is to execute with discipline, invest with conviction and build Foodie Media into one of the most meaningful digital media businesses in this region,” said chief executive officer Nicholas Lim Pinn Yang.

Foodie Media said it remains positive on its future outlook, citing continued demand across its four revenue pillars, which are content, creator, commerce and community, with favourable industry trends in digital advertising.

The group was listed on the ACE Market in November 2025 at an initial public offering price of 30 sen, raising about RM41.4 million to fund its expansion. Meanwhile, Lim pocketed about RM3.5 million from the offer for sale portion.

Foodie Media’s shares closed unchanged at 34 sen on Wednesday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM301.9 million.
