KUALA LUMPUR (April 8): Kwasa Land Sdn Bhd (KLSB) is partnering with ParkCity Group to develop more than 9,000 residential units in the Kwasa Damansara township.
According to a press statement issued on April 3, the project will be undertaken by ParkCity Damansara Sdn Bhd, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of ParkCity Group. KLSB, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Employees Provident Fund (EPF), is the master developer of the township.
The collaboration involves the development of more than 400 acres of land located at the southeastern corner of Kwasa Damansara, an area currently known as PJ East.
The project will deliver a mix of landed homes and condominiums.
Kwasa Land managing director Datuk Adenan Md Yusof said: “We are delighted to embark on this collaboration with ParkCity Group... leveraging their extensive experience in delivering developments across Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak and Hanoi, we are confident that ParkCity Group will bring its distinctive DNA of innovation, quality and sustainability to this project, further strengthening Kwasa Damansara's development ethos of being Green, Connected and Inclusive.”
PJ East is located near the Subang SkyPark terminal, MRT stations, healthcare facilities, and schools, and is adjacent to Tropicana and Kota Damansara.
The master plan seeks to build on the success of ParkCity Group’s award-winning Desa ParkCity in Kuala Lumpur.
ParkCity Group chief executive officer Datuk Joseph Lau said: “At ParkCity, we approach township development with a long-term perspective, guided by what we call the ParkCity way of living, anchored on three core principles: a diverse community, seamless connectivity and thoughtful conveniences.
“Kwasa Damansara presents a rare opportunity to reimagine what a future-ready township can be within a mature urban setting,” Lau said.
