KUALA LUMPUR (March 16): Fitters Diversified Bhd (KL:FITTERS) is selling a renewable energy development unit for RM15.2 million to improve cash flow for working capital.

The firefighting equipment maker inked agreements to sell the entire equity interest in Future NRG Sdn Bhd to various purchasers, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

The purchasers comprise Perfect Energy Sdn Bhd, Antbiz Sdn Bhd, Ng Kok Yung, Tan Siew Ching, Ng Ling Hong, Wong Min Lin, Toh Jia Ying, Ng Kok Yee, Tan Sui Hua, Loh Yoke Mooi and Liew Kim Foong.

Perfect Energy is owned by Pun Kah Weng while Antbiz is owned by Lee Yong Tian, according to Fitters Diversified.

Fitters Diversified said its original cost of investment in Future NRG was RM27.89 million.

According to Fitters Diversified’s website, Future NRG is involved in medical waste management.

At end-November last year, Fitters Diversified’s cash pile stood at RM42.82 million with total borrowings at RM10.58 million.

Shares in Fitters Diversified ended half a sen or 20% lower at two sen, valuing the company at RM39.24 million.
