CAMERON HIGHLANDS (March 3): Boutique developer Armani Group has expanded its presence in the highlands hospitality segment with the opening of Oakwood Cameron Highlands in Pahang, a 383-key golf-front serviced residence managed by The Ascott Ltd.

The development sits on an elevated hilltop directly overlooking the Sultan Ahmad Shah Golf Club in Tanah Rata, offering 383-key inventory comprises deluxe rooms, studios and two-bedroom family suites of up to 90 sqm, with selected residences featuring fully equipped kitchens, washing machines and dryers, according to a press statement issued on Monday (March 2).  

“The scale of the development and its hilltop golf-front positioning introduce a differentiated product within Cameron Highlands. The residential configuration allows us to cater to families, golfers and corporate groups seeking both space and perspective,” said Oakwood Cameron Highlands general manager Simon Yu.

Food and beverage facilities of the English-inspired development include Oakbistro, an all-day dining restaurant; and Oaklounge, a lounge space overlooking the golf course, supported by amenities such as a gymnasium, 24-hour reception, on-site laundrette, complimentary WiFi and housekeeping services.

With the addition of Oakwood Cameron Highlands, Armani Group strengthens its hospitality portfolio in Cameron Highlands, while Ascott continues to expand its serviced residence footprint in Malaysia.
