KUALA LUMPUR (March 2): Integrated building support services company KJTS Group Bhd (KL:KJTS) has secured a RM13.5 million contract to provide air conditioning and mechanical ventilation services for Cengild Specialist Hospital in Kuala Lumpur.

Its wholly-owned subsidiary KJ Technical Services Sdn Bhd has accepted the letter of award from BPL Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd, according to KJTS' bourse filing on Monday.

The scope of the work includes demolition of unused air ducts and equipment, as well as the supply and installation of air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems in line with approved drawings.

The project commenced on Jan 29, 2026 and is scheduled for completion by Sept 28, 2026.

KJTS was down 1.5 sen at 78.5 sen at the midday break, valuing the company at RM542.05 million. Year to date, the stock has fallen 45.49%.

The company’s shares have been under selling pressure since the start of the year due to delays in its RM65.5 million acquisition of Malakoff Utilities Sdn Bhd from Malakoff Corp Bhd, announced a year ago.

It later said two conditions of the deal were not met before the deadline, causing the agreement to lapse.
