KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 26): ViTrox Corporation Bhd (KL:VITROX) is expecting a strong uptick in its business environment in the first half of this year after posting a record-breaking topline in the final quarter of 2025 that resulted in its net profit more than doubling year on year.

The automated test equipment manufacturer said this will be driven by the "hyper-cycle" growth phase that the global semiconductor industry is entering, driven by the expansion of artificial intelligence infrastructure worldwide.

The group plans to focus on high-growth advanced packaging segment, while maintaining strict cost discipline to manage currency volatility and geopolitical uncertainties, its latest results filing on Thursday showed.

The optimistic outlook follows a stellar ending for FY2025 for the group, with net profit for the fourth quarter ended Dec 31, 2025 (4QFY2025) surging to RM46.18 million — the highest in three years — from RM22.58 million in 4QFY2024.

Quarterly revenue jumped 95.2% to a record high of RM290.41 million from RM148.80 million on strong demand for its automated board inspection and machine vision systems. The group did not declare a dividend for the quarter.

For the full FY2025, ViTrox's net profit grew 47.4% to RM133.18 million from RM90.36 million in FY2024, as revenue climbed 52.7% to RM843.14 million from RM552.31 million.

ViTrox shares closed 11 sen or 2.49% at RM4.52 on Thursday, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM8.56 billion. The stock has rallied 35% over the past one year.
