KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 12): Infraharta Holdings Bhd (KL:IHB) said it has secured a subcontract to provide labour and materials for a healthcare clinic and dental specialist centre construction project in Putrajaya.
The subcontract, with an estimated value of RM11.42 million, was awarded by civil and building construction firm Synergy Goldtree Sdn Bhd, Infraharta said in a filing on Bursa Malaysia.
The project, which also includes the supply of equipment, tools and machinery, began on Feb 4 and is scheduled for completion on Jan 31, 2028.
This is the second subcontract awarded to Infraharta by Synergy Goldtree, after the RM17.4 million subcontract in May 2025 for site clearance, earthwork, and piling works for the women and children's block of the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital in Kuantan.
Infraharta, a wholly-owned subsidiary of IHB Group, focuses on building and engineering projects, roadworks and slope maintenance, property development, and money lending, according to the company’s website.
The company is currently facing legal action from Consortium Zenith Construction Sdn Bhd (CZC) over the Penang Major Roads and Third Link project. CZC is seeking the return of RM13.12 million in payments made to IHB’s unit, claiming that the amounts were obtained through fraud, according to IHB in a filing in 2024.
Shares of Infraharta closed unchanged at 13 sen on Thursday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM57.6 million.
