
KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 9): Foodie Media Bhd (KL:FOODIE) is collaborating with WTM Media Sdn Bhd to co-develop and commercialise next-generation digital and e-sports media content.
Effective from Feb 9, 2026, the partnership runs for an initial one-year term, with an option to extend, according to Foodie Media’s bourse filing.
Both parties will explore new content formats and monetisation opportunities across brand partnerships, sponsorships, and integrated campaigns, said Foodie Media, which was listed on Bursa Malaysia in November last year.
Foodie Media said it sees strong potential in WTM’s vision and talent and will contribute strategic guidance, market insights and business development expertise to support WTM’s next phase of scale.
“As Foodie Media continues to scale, we see meaningful opportunities to deploy our commercial infrastructure and regional reach to support partners with strong creative foundations," said its chief executive officer Nicholas Lim Pinn Yang.
“This collaboration is about building a media platform that is creatively credible, commercially resilient, and designed for long-term value creation,” he added.
Shares in Foodie Media closed up 1.5 sen or 3.7% at 42 sen on Monday, valuing the company at RM372.96 million. The company posted a net profit of RM9.34 million for the financial year ended Aug 31, 2025.
The stock has gained 40% since its listing at an offer price of 30 sen. However, it has retreated from its peak of 55 sen.
