KUALA LUMPUR (Jan 19): WM Senibong Bhd has completed the acquisition of Kews Senibong Sdn Bhd and the landholdings of Senibong Golf Club from Walker Corporation Pty Ltd.

According to a statement on Monday, the transaction adds approximately 270 acres of mixed-use development land located in Iskandar Puteri, Johor, to the group’s portfolio.

The purchase comprises The Kews parcel and the Senibong Golf Club development lands. According to the company, the site has an estimated gross development value of RM6 billion.

Chief executive officer CK Quay said the acquisition secures one of the most sought-after remaining land parcels in Iskandar Puteri. “The Kews land bank is exceptionally valuable, not only for its size and location, but for what it allows us to create,” said Quay.

“Its proximity to established amenities, infrastructure and growth corridors provides a strong foundation for an integrated development.”

The acquisition is a key milestone in the group’s five-year roadmap for Kews Senibong, which comprises 60% landed residential units, 20% high-rise developments and 20% commercial projects. To date, Kews Senibong has posted annual sales growth of between 25% and 30%, driven primarily by local demand.

From 2026, WM Senibong expects the development to contribute a double digit percentage growth in revenue and earnings.

The Kews township currently spans 270 acres within the Leisure Farm precinct. Its first phase, Kew Green 1, launched in December 2024, was fully sold within three months. Kew Green 2, launched in October 2025, is currently on sale, while a third phase — Kew Woods — will be introduced in the second quarter of 2026.

Kew Woods will consist of 260 landed residences over 21.8 acres, including terraces, clusters and link bungalows. The development is GreenRE Gold-rated and includes a private clubhouse, rooftop garden, recreational lake park and wellness facilities. Surrounding amenities include international schools, healthcare centres and lifestyle hubs, with direct connectivity to Singapore via the Tuas Second Link.
