
KUALA LUMPUR (Dec 16): PTT Synergy Group Bhd (KL:PTT) has secured an earthworks and ancillary works contract worth RM35.88 million from Sime Darby Property Bhd (KL:SIMEPROP).
In a bourse filing, the group said the contract was awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary, Pembinaan Tetap Teguh Sdn Bhd, for the Bandar Bukit Raja Business Park in Kapar, Klang.
Pre-possession is scheduled for Dec 18, 2025, with possession commencing on Jan 5, 2026, and completion targeted for Sept 4, 2027.
PTT Synergy noted that the award will not affect its share capital or substantial shareholders’ holdings for the financial years ending June 30, 2026 to June 30, 2028.
While the letter of award is not expected to materially impact net assets, it is anticipated to contribute positively to the group’s earnings over its duration.
Shares in PTT Synergy closed unchanged at RM1.37 on Tuesday, giving the company a market value of RM599.46 million. Year-to-date, the stock has risen 22.3%.
Meanwhile, Sime Darby Property also ended unchanged at RM1.37, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM9.32 billion. The stock has fallen 18.9% so far this year.
