<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The Korean automaker plans to reorganise its distribution network and establish its own sales company in the country, according to an exchange filing by Bermaz Auto that also distributes Mazda and XPENG branded vehicles.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>An agreement has been signed by Bermaz’s 65%-owned unit Dinamikjaya Motors Sdn Bhd with Kia and their joint venture, Kia Malaysia Sdn Bhd, to mutually terminate the distributorship immediately.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>However, Dinamikjaya Motors will continue to work with Kia to ensure a smooth transition and minimise interruption in vehicle services, supply of parts, warranties and after-sales services to customers.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Bermaz Auto secured the Kia distributorship in April 2021 after Naza Group relinquished the marque from its portfolio a year earlier.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares of Bermaz Auto ended two sen or 3.67% higher at 56.5 sen on Friday, valuing the company at RM666.19 million ahead of the announcement.</p></div>
