KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 19): TSH Resources Bhd (KL:TSH) registered a net profit of RM56.4 million for the third quarter, jumping 70.2% from RM33.14 million a year earlier.
The improvement in earnings for the three months ended Sept 30, 2025 (3QFY2025) was driven by higher revenue from its palm products segment, lower corporate expenses and lower finance costs, said the group in a bourse filing on Wednesday.
Quarterly revenue rose 13.67% year-on-year to RM263.65 million from RM231.94 million. The higher revenue from palm products was helped by increased sales volume and average selling prices for crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel.
The group did not recommend any dividend for the quarter.
The improved quarterly results helped boost TSH Resources' net profit for the January-September period to RM153.83 million, more than double the RM73.84 million recorded in the same period last year.
Nine-month revenue climbed 11.13% to RM807.76 million from RM726.84 million previously.
The group said the significant increase in the net profit for the nine-month period was due to a one-off prior period depreciation charge of RM22 million which was recognised following the termination of the disposal of the PT Bulungan Citra Agro Persada land in 2QFY2024.
Looking ahead, TSH Resources said CPO prices are expected to remain relatively stable above RM4,000 per tonne, supported by sustained export demand and steady consumption, but could face downward pressure if production continues to rise in the fourth quarter.
A bumper soybean crop, geopolitical uncertainties and ongoing tariff actions may introduce price volatility and disrupt trade flows of CPO, it noted.
TSH Resources' share price settled three sen or 2.26% higher at RM1.36 on Wednesday, for a market capitalisation of RM1.88 billion.
