<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 13): HE Group Bhd (KL:<a href="/askedge/klse/0296" class="ce-stock" target="_blank">HEGROUP</a>) has secured a RM56.59 million subcontract from an undisclosed “engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) company” to provide electrical services for a data centre in Cyberjaya.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The power distribution specialist’s unit, Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd, inked an eight-month subcontract with the EPCM company for the works, according to an exchange filing on Thursday.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>HE Group described the EPCM company as a “foreign-owned company specialising in the construction, civil engineering and offshore oil and gas sectors”.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The subcontract began on Aug 27 and will contribute to the company’s earnings over the eight months.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Shares in HE Group ended half a sen or 1.41% higher at 36 sen on Thursday, valuing the company at RM158.4 million.</p></div>
