KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 7): InNature Bhd (KL:INNATURE) has completed its acquisition of The Body Shop Singapore Pte Ltd for S$2.96 million (RM9.49 million), finalised on Nov 7. After accounting for cash acquired, the net cash outflow was S$691,000 (RM2.22 million).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the company said TBS Singapore is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of InNature, which operates The Body Shop stores in Malaysia, Vietnam and Cambodia. The acquisition strengthens InNature’s regional presence and operational synergies in Southeast Asia.

InNature managing director Datin Mina Cheah-Foong said in a separate statement the deal reinforces the company’s commitment to The Body Shop brand and aims to enhance customer experience and growth in Singapore. The Body Shop International CEO Mike Jatania called it a continuation of a 40-year partnership, benefiting employees, consumers and regional growth.

For the six months ended June 30, 2025, InNature posted a net profit of RM1.12 million on RM61.12 million revenue, down from RM3.83 million on RM62.79 million a year earlier. The group had RM13.93 million in cash, RM27.81 million in investments and minimal borrowings of RM240,000.

By Monday’s midday break, InNature shares were up 0.5 sen at 18.5 sen, valuing the group at RM130.6 million. Year-to-date, the stock has declined 5.1%.
