KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 11): Halal poultry producer Farmiera Bhd, which is slated to debut on Bursa Malaysia’s ACE Market on Nov 12, reported a net profit of RM885,000 for its third quarter ended Sept 30, 2025 (3QFY2025).
Excluding initial public offering (IPO)-related expenses of RM412,000, net profit would have stood at RM1.3 million.
For 3QFY2025, revenue came in at RM149.3 million, the poultry company said in a bourse filing on Monday. As this is Farmiera’s first interim financial report ahead of its listing, no comparative figures were provided.
Revenue was evenly split between its poultry farming and poultry processing divisions.
For the nine-month period (9MFY2025), the group posted a net profit of RM5.42 million. Stripping out IPO expenses, net profit would have been RM6.46 million on revenue of RM460.13 million.
For reference, Farmiera recorded a net profit of RM7 million, on revenue of RM561.07 million for the financial year ended Dec 31, 2024 (FY2024).
Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Klang, Farmiera specialises in broiler production and raw poultry processing. Its customer base includes livestock distributors, traders, and retail chains such as grocery stores, hypermarkets, supermarkets, and food service providers.
The company currently operates 15 broiler farms and partners with 44 contract farms across Selangor, Negeri Sembilan, Perak, Pahang, and Melaka. It also runs two halal-certified processing plants in Ipoh, Perak, and Lukut, Negeri Sembilan.
Farmiera’s IPO shares are priced at 25 sen each. It is looking to raise over RM29 million from the IPO. Proceeds will fund upstream integration through the development of two parent stock farms and a hatchery, which are expected to eventually supply 40% of its poultry farming requirements.
The parent stock farm is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2026, while the hatchery is targeted to be operational by the first half of 2027. Currently, Farmiera sources all its day-old chicks from third-party suppliers.
Upon listing, Farmiera will have a market capitalisation of RM112.5 million. At 25 sen per share, the company was valued at 16 times its FY2024 earnings.
