KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 6): Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd (KL:KPS) said its 51%-owned unit Aqua-Flo Sdn Bhd secured two contracts worth a total of RM53.05 million for the supply of water treatment chemicals.

Aqua-Flo inked two framework agreements with Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd in relation to the contracts, KPS said in a bourse filing on Thursday.

Both contracts — one for the provision of pH-adjusters and another for polyelectrolytes (water soluble polymers) — will start on Jan 1, 2026.

KPS said the contract sums are estimates, and final sums will be determined by actual quantities stated in purchase orders from Air Selangor. Prices of supplied chemicals will remain fixed throughout the contract period, including any extension.

The contracts are deemed recurrent related party transactions, given that Menteri Besar Selangor Inc owns Air Selangor and KPS's controlling shareholder, Darul Ehsan Investment Group Bhd.

Darul Ehsan Investment Group is KPS’ single largest shareholder with a 57.88% stake, while Selangor state-owned Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (PKNS) holds 5.52%.

Shares in KPS ended two sen or 3.13% higher at 66 sen, valuing the company at RM352.03 million.
