KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 27): PJBumi Bhd’s (KL:PJBUMI) 90%-owned unit, PT Indodrill Bumi Perkasa, has entered into an oil and gas (O&G) well maintenance arrangement with an Indonesian oil and gas operator.

Under an umbrella agreement inked on Oct 24, Indodrill Bumi Perkasa will provide well maintenance services for operator KSO PT Pertamina-PT Petro Papua Mogoi Wasian, according to an exchange filing on Monday (Oct 27).

The agreement is for two years until Oct 23, 2027. The deal's value was not disclosed as PJBumi noted it is based on service orders issued by the operator.

KSO PT Pertamina-PT Petro Papua Mogoi Wasian is an oil and gas operator formed under a joint operation agreement between PT Pertamina EP and PT Petro Papua Mogoi Wasian. It holds the concession for exploration and exploitation in the Mogoi Wasian block.

Indodrill Bumi Perkasa is an integrated engineering O&G support services firm. PJBumi did not disclose who owns the remaining 10% equity interest in the unit.

Shares in PJBumi ended six sen or 2.24% higher at RM2.74, valuing the company at RM224.68 million.
