KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 23): Advancecon Holdings Bhd (KL:ADVCON) has secured two contracts worth RM25.14 million from a unit of Sime Darby Property Bhd (KL:SIMEPROP) for earthworks and related works in Bandar Bukit Raja 2, Klang.

The contracts were awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Advancecon Infra Sdn Bhd (AISB) by Sime Darby Property (Bukit Raja) Sdn Bhd on Thursday.

The contracts, which have a tenure of 20 months, will run from Nov 6, 2025, to July 5, 2027, according to Advancecon’s filing with Bursa Malaysia.

The projects, to be financed through internally-generated funds and/or external borrowings, are expected to contribute positively to Advancecon’s future earnings.

Bandar Bukit Raja is one of Sime Darby Property’s flagship townships and one of the largest integrated developments in the Klang district. The new phase, Bandar Bukit Raja 2, extends this development footprint, further strengthening the township’s position in Greater Klang Valley.

Last week, AISB also secured a RM36.1 million contract from Sime Darby Property (Serenia City) Sdn Bhd for earthworks and related infrastructure works at Serenia City, Selangor.

“We are honoured to be entrusted once again by Sime Darby Property, one of Malaysia’s leading township developers. Our continued collaboration across projects such as Bandar Bukit Raja and Serenia City reflects our shared commitment to delivering sustainable infrastructure and quality urban development,”  Advancecon group chief executive officer Datuk Phum Ang Kia said in a statement.

“This latest win further consolidates our foothold in Selangor where we continue to play a key role in supporting Malaysia’s property and infrastructure ecosystem,” Phum added.

As of end-June 2025, Advancecon reported an outstanding order book of approximately RM754 million.

Shares of Advancecon rose half a sen or 2.5% to close at 20.5 sen on Thursday, giving it a market capitalisation of RM117.02 million.
