KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 17): Jentayu Sustainables Bhd (KL:JSB) has postponed its extraordinary general meeting (EGM) to Dec 4 from Oct 22, citing scheduling conflicts involving several board members.

The board said the EGM, originally set for 10.30am at Menara Felda, Kuala Lumpur, will now be held at noon at the same venue.

According to the company, the postponement allows the full board to participate in discussions and proposals to ensure proper governance and orderly conduct of the meeting.

Jentayu Sustainables added that proxy forms already submitted for the Oct 22 meeting will remain valid for the new date unless revoked or replaced.

Shareholders who wish to submit a new proxy form may do so before the submission deadline for the postponed meeting, which will supersede any earlier submission.

Shares in Jentayu Sustainables closed unchanged at 41.5 sen on Friday, valuing the company at RM185.16 million. Year to date, the stock has declined 3%.
