<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The power cut was caused by a trip at a power plant owned by independent power producer Edra Power Holdings Sdn Bhd, which is part of the China General Nuclear Power Corporation.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>"TNB thanks all affected customers for their patience and apologises for the inconvenience caused by this supply disruption," the post read.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The outage led Kepong member of Parliament Lim Lip Eng to take to X to ask for help by tagging Tenaga’s social media handle.</p></div>
