KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 13): Citaglobal Property Development Sdn Bhd launched D’Marina Bayu (Phase 2B) on Saturday, Oct 11, a solar-ready residential enclave comprising 120 double-storey terraced homes. It is part of the Residensi D’Marina township in Kuantan, which is jointly developed by Citaglobal and Perbadanan PR1MA Malaysia.

The launch was officiated by the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah.

In a press statement, Citaglobal Bhd (KL:CITAGLB) executive chairman and president Tan Sri Dr Mohamad Norza Zakaria said, “The integration of solar-ready features in D’Marina underscores Citaglobal’s commitment to accelerating a clean energy future for Malaysia, empowering residents to enjoy long-term energy savings while supporting the nation’s transition towards renewable and low-carbon community development."

Each unit is equipped with infrastructure to support rooftop solar panel installation, which may reduce electricity bills by up to 60%, according to Citaglobal. The homes in Phase 2B are scheduled for completion by December 2026.

D’Marina Bayu also features fibre-to-the-home connectivity and smart home-ready systems.

Phases 1 and 2A — comprising a total of 659 terraced houses — have been completed, with Phase 2A fully sold.

Future phases (2C to 2F), involving an additional 507 terraced homes, are currently in the planning stage.

According to the statement, D’Marina is located and connected via the Tanjung Lumpur and Putra Bridges, and is envisioned as a holistic township — integrating nature, sustainability, and urban convenience. The development features community-centric facilities such as a multipurpose hall, tadika and taska, and surau, designed to foster a vibrant, inclusive, and connected neighbourhood.
