KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 9): Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera (AHB) has declared an interim income distribution of 2.1 sen a unit, coupled with bonus distribution of 0.4 sen per unit, for the six-month period ended Sept 30, 2025.
This brings the total income distribution for the period to 2.5 sen per unit, according to a statement from Pelaburan Hartanah Bhd (PHB) on Thursday.
Including the interim income distribution of 2.5 sen per unit declared in April, AHB’s total income distribution for the financial year ended Sept 30, 2025 (FY2025) amounts to five sen per unit — matching the five sen per unit paid in FY2024.
Meanwhile, the bonus distribution will be applied to the first one million units held by each unitholder, it added.
The latest income distribution will see RM118.7 million distributed, bringing the total annual payout to RM235 million, benefiting over 82,000 unitholders.
As the income distribution is net of tax and zakat, unitholders will receive the full amount without the need for further deductions or obligations.
The income distribution will be paid in cash or in AHB units (for unitholders below 10,000 units only) and will be credited directly to the unitholders’ registered bank accounts or AHB accounts on Oct 14.
PHB group managing director cum chief executive officer Mohamad Damshal Awang Damit said over the next three to five years, the company plans to grow its presence in high-growth sectors and markets such as Kedah, Johor, Terengganu, Sabah, and Sarawak through a disciplined portfolio management approach.
“Our strategy emphasises acquiring high-quality, well-located assets and enhancing existing properties with upgrades and environmental, social and governance (ESG) improvements to keep them relevant and competitive. This approach has enabled AHB to consistently deliver attractive returns to unitholders, outperforming its benchmark," said Mohamad Damshal.
PHB is the sole operating arm of Yayasan Amanah Hartanah Bumiputera, a trust institution under the purview of the Malaysian government.
AHB is a shariah-compliant real-estate-backed trust fund that provides Bumiputera investors with the opportunity to participate in the ownership of prime commercial real estate.
