KUALA LUMPUR (Sept 25): Credit scoring firm CTOS Digital Bhd (KL:CTOS) said on Thursday it will announce its new finance chief once all formalities are finalised.
The board has completed a “thorough succession planning process” following the resignation of chief financial officer Chiam Hsing Chee, CTOS Digital said in a statement. Until his successor takes office, interim chief executive Kevin Loh will oversee the company’s finances.
Loh, who will be supported by the group financial controller, said he will “ensure the finance pillar continues to operate with the highest standards of governance and efficiency during this transition period”.
The statement follows Wednesday’s announcement of Chiam’s departure. His replacement was not identified in the latest statement nor the exchange filing a day earlier.
Chiam’s exit, effective Sept 28, also comes at a time of a growing vacuum in the top management of CTOS Digital. CEO Erick Hamburger quit on Sept 30, and Loh is temporarily filling the role while the company searches for a permanent replacement.
The company also thanked Chiam for his service, noting that he is stepping down to “to attend to personal commitments outside Malaysia”.
“His contributions have elevated CTOS’s financial discipline and investor confidence, leaving the group well positioned for continued expansion,” executive chairman Datuk Noorazman Abd Aziz added in the same statement on Thursday.
