KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 21): Enproserve Group Bhd (KL:ENPRO), a provider of mechanical and civil engineering services to the oil and gas (O&G) and petrochemical industries, has secured a two-year contract from Petronas Dagangan Bhd (KL:PETDAG) for the maintenance of aviation refuelling vehicles, marking the group’s entry into the aviation vehicle maintenance sector.

The contract, effective from Sept 1, was awarded to Enproserve’s wholly-owned subsidiary Enproserve (M) Sdn Bhd via a letter of award received on July 15, the company disclosed in a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Thursday.

The contract value will be determined based on individual work orders issued throughout the two-year duration.

Under the agreement, Enproserve will provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services for PetDag’s aviation refuelling assets at airports across Peninsular Malaysia, excluding the Kuala Lumpur International Airport.

In a separate statement, Enproserve said the new contract reflects its strategic push to diversify its portfolio and tap into new sectors, particularly aviation, alongside its core operations in the O&G and petrochemical industries.

"The strategic expansion underscores the group’s capabilities in meeting the most stringent safety and operational requirements. The award, which builds on Enproserve’s strong, 16-year track record as a trusted service provider to Petroliam Nasional Bhd, positions it to support PetDag’s expanding aircraft refuelling operations as the industry grows," it added.

At market close on Thursday, Enproserve shares remained unchanged at 25 sen, giving the group a market capitalisation of RM262.5 million. The stock has declined 7.41% year to date.
