KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 6): Building facade specialist Uni Wall APS Holdings Bhd (KL:UNIWALL) is mulling a listing transfer to the ACE Market from the LEAP Market.

In a bourse filing on Wednesday, the company said it had received a letter from its major shareholders, Hysiow Holdings Sdn Bhd, executive chairman Siow Hon Yong and chief executive officer Siow Hon Yuen, requesting the company to consider the listing transfer.

The board, except the Siow brothers being the proposing directors, “will deliberate on the proposed transfer of listing”, it noted.

The Siow brothers are Uni Wall’s joint controlling shareholders with an 87.5% stake via their vehicle Hysiow Holdings. Uni Wall listed on the LEAP Market, in which trading is available only to sophisticated investors, back in January 2019 at an initial public offering price of 16 sen.

For the first six months ended Dec 31, 2024 (6MFY2025), Uni Wall posted a year-on-year surge in net profit to RM3.72 million, while revenue more than doubled to RM5.32 million.

The company said in its financial results report in February that its future plans centre on expanding its presence in the local building facade industry, expanding its factory facilities for higher fabrication capacity, and expanding into upstream and downstream business.

Companies listed on the LEAP Market are required to release half-yearly financial statements instead of on a quarterly basis.

Shares of Uni Wall ended unchanged at 49 sen on Wednesday, valuing the company at RM577.8 million.
