KUALA LUMPUR (July 23): Infomina Bhd (KL:INFOM) has booked its first quarterly loss since its listing in November 2022, with a net loss of RM3.14 million in the fourth quarter ended May 31, 2025 (4QFY2025), which it attributed to a one-off RM10 million provision for doubtful debts related to a customer in the Philippines.

The IT services provider's revenue also dropped to RM53.44 million in the quarter, its bourse filing on Wednesday showed, down 8.7% from RM58.53 million in 4QFY2024, when it made a net profit of RM8.05 million.

No dividend was declared for the quarter.

Infomina, one of only four authorised service providers for Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM) data, said the drop in quarterly revenue was mainly due to lower contributions from the design and delivery of technology infrastructure solutions segment, which saw fewer hardware deliveries compared to the same quarter last year.

The design and delivery division's revenue dropped 60.8% to RM7.65 million, while its operations, maintenance and support services division's topline grew 17.4% to RM45.79 million.

Its weaker 4Q performance dragged the group's annual earnings for FY2025 to RM21.10 million — its lowest since listing. This is down 36.1% from RM33.05 million in FY2024, as revenue fell 12.7% to RM196.68 million from RM225.16 million.

Going forward, Infomina, which saw RM3.8 million revenue contribution from its Japan operations in 4QFY2025, expects further growth from Japan in FY2026 as it expands its customer base.

“Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the board of directors remains optimistic of the group’s outlook despite the ongoing global economic uncertainties,” it added.

Shares in Infomina finished sen or 2.33% lower at 84 sen on Wednesday, valuing the group at RM505.05 million. The counter has dropped over 39% year to date.
