KUALA LUMPUR (July 18): Tropicana Corp Bhd (KL:TROP) has launched Clarissa Serviced Suites in Pantai Cenang, Langkawi. The development has a gross development value of RM922.6 million.
As the third and final residential phase of the bigger Tropicana Cenang development, the freehold 40-storey development will feature 806 fully furnished serviced suites with built-up sizes ranging from 536 to 1,356 sq ft.
“In 2020, we accelerated our growth plan with the introduction of Tropicana Cenang, the first integrated, well-planned and green building development in Langkawi. Today, our phase 1 and 2, Assana and Merissa Serviced Suites, recorded 100% take-up and celebrated their topping off ceremony. With such strong demand, we are rolling out our phase 3, Clarissa Serviced Suites,” said Tropicana marketing, sales and business development managing director Ixora Ang Pei-Chern and project managing director Allan Wong Weng Keong in a press release issued on Tuesday.
A fully furnished show unit for Clarissa Serviced Suites was also showcased alongside the launch. Each unit will come with built-in kitchen and sanitary fittings, appliances and ready-to-use furnishings.
The project features a low-density layout with separate lift lobbies, seven beachwalk shops, a sea-fronting infinity pool, a rooftop restaurant and viewing deck, beachwalk shops with direct access to the beach and Cenang Street and other family-friendly facilities.
“In tune with our mantra of Redefining the Art of Living, Tropicana wished to make a difference with every unit sold by Clarissa Serviced Suites. For every unit sold, RM200 will be donated to charity through our Cenang CSR programme. With 806 residential units, we look forward to donating a total of RM160,000 paid over three years to selected beneficiary parties in support of the local community, which includes underprivileged families, primary or secondary schools, medical assistance, and elderly care,” added Ang.
