KUALA LUMPUR (July 17): Eastern & Oriental Bhd (KL:E&O) and Japan-based real estate developer Mitsui Fudosan Group have officially launched Conlay Signature Suites, the second and final phase of their Conlay by E&O serviced apartment development located in Kuala Lumpur.

Conlay Signature Suites is located on the uppermost floors of the development (levels 37 to 51) and comprises 194 fully furnished units with built-ups ranging from 635 to 3,617 sq ft. The units come in 1-bedroom to 3+1-bedroom penthouse configurations.

Prices for these units are between RM1.52 million and RM12 million. Having been soft-launched in May, Conlay Signature Suites has achieved a 40% take-up rate.

Located on a 1.44-acre freehold tract at the intersection of Jalan Kia Peng and Jalan Conlay, Conlay by E&O is a 51-storey luxury serviced apartment (total 491 units) jointly developed by E&O and Mitsui Fudosan. The initial phase, Conlay Residences, was launched in 2019 and all 297 units have been fully sold.

Conlay by E&O is designed by Kerry Hill Architects in partnership with GDP Architects, with landscape design by Seksan Design. The development has a gross development value of RM968 million.

In terms of facilities, there will be heated infinity pools, gymnasiums, themed communal spaces, a library and more spread across Levels 11 and 36. Plus, there is a dedicated lifestyle, and food and beverage (F&B) level on Level 50, with a premier F&B brand expected to open in the coming months.

Speaking at the launch event, E&O managing director Kok Tuck Cheong said the response to the project has been exceptionally encouraging. “This launch reaffirms our belief that there is still a strong appetite in the market for well-located and thoughtfully designed homes that offer not just quality but distinction.”

He added that local buyers accounted for 30% of units sold and the development has received a provisional GreenRE Gold certification.

Concurring with Kok, Mitsui Fudosan (Asia) Malaysia Sdn Bhd managing director Masayoshi Saito in his speech said: “We are pleased to see the positive market response since the soft launch in May. We are positive that Conlay Signature Suites will continue to attract interest from both local and international homebuyers.”

Moving forward, Kok has announced that E&O will be focusing on its next project at the City of Elmina in Shah Alam, Selangor, with more details to be unveiled in the fourth quarter of 2025.
