<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (May 20): Sunway Construction Group Bhd (KL:<a href="/askedge/klse/5263" class="ce-stock" target="_blank">SUNCON</a>) has secured a contract valued at RM260 million for the third and final phase of a data centre development project located in Johor.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The contract, awarded to its wholly owned subsidiary Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd (SCSB), was formalised on Tuesday following the acceptance of a letter of award from K2 Strategic Infrastructure Malaysia Sdn Bhd and is slated for completion by March 2026.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>This latest award follows SCSB’s prior involvement in the same project, having previously undertaken the Stage 1 and Stage 2 general contractor package works, which were accepted on Feb 10, 2025, and are currently under construction.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The total value of the entire project is capped at RM392.70 million, with the Stage 3 works comprising RM260 million of that amount.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>According to the company, the project is anticipated to positively contribute to the group’s earnings from the financial year ending 2025 onwards.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>At the closing bell, Sunway Construction shares were four sen or 0.8% higher at RM4.88 on Tuesday, valuing the group at RM6.30 billion. Year to date, the stock has gained 5.4%.</p></div>
