
KUALA LUMPUR (May 11): I-Bhd (KL:IBHD) is rolling out a single-tower freehold integrated development called Wyndham Suites i-City in its flagship 72-acre i-City master plan in Shah Alam, Selangor, this month.
The 55-storey tower comprises the 200-room, five-star Wyndham Suites i-City hotel, which takes up Levels 39 to 55, as well as 312 branded residences from Levels 12 to 38. Both components have similar unit configurations with built-ups of 550 to 865 sq ft. The selling price of the branded residences is RM441,000 to RM719,000, or an average of RM800 psf.
I-Bhd owns the asset, US-based Wyndham Hotels & Resorts will manage the hotel, and the branded residences will be managed by a property management team.
Also in this issue, DK-MY Properties Sdn Bhd is set to launch three projects with a combined gross development value of RM2.8 billion this year. The projects, all in Selangor, are residential developments D’Amber and a yet-to-be-named project in Taman Puchong Intan, as well as a mixed-use development called D’Twist in Bandar Sunway.

In an email interview, Asia Quest Group announced 95% take-up for the first phase of Kiaramas deDaun, an upscale condominium in Mont’Kiara, and the launch of the second phase this month. The Phase 2 units have built-ups ranging from 1,389 to 4,693 sq ft and are priced between RM1.16 million and RM4.31 million.
Our Singapore counterpart highlights a boutique condo called Hill House hitting a new price high of S$3,420 (RM11,153) psf. A 999-year leasehold condo located on Institution Hill, off River Valley Road in prime District 9, Hill House features 72 residential units with built-ups of 431 to 753 sq ft with an average transacted price of S$3,073 psf since the launch in November 2022.
On the international front, the New York City real estate industry is seeking a law requiring landlords to pay broker fees be blocked.
