<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>KUALA LUMPUR (MAY 4): The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commision (MACC) has come out to say that it had asked Pamela Ling Yueh, a Malaysian women reported missing, to appear at the MACC headquarters on April 9 to assist in investigations under the MACC Act 2009 and the anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>However, she failed to show up and could not be reached, it said in a statement this evening.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>A police report on her disappearance was made by Ling’s lawyer on the same day. The MACC said the matter has since been handed over to the police to investigate.</p></div><div class=inPageAd id=div-gpt-ad-inpage></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>The MACC urged the public not to speculate or spread unverified news on the matter and to let the police do their work.&nbsp;</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Earlier on Sunday, it was reported that police have recorded statements from 12 witnesses over Ling’s disappearance.</p></div>

<div class=newsTextDataWrapInner><p>Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said those interviewed included family members, MACC officers and the victim’s lawyer.</p></div>
