
KUALA LUMPUR (April 25): UEM Edgenta Bhd has won contracts valued at S$220.48 million (RM735.23 million) from ALPS Pte Ltd to provide hospital support services in Singapore.
In a filing on Friday, UEM Edgenta announced that its subsidiary, UEMS Solutions Pte Ltd, has secured contracts lasting between 32 months and five years, starting May 1, 2025.
The contracts are anticipated to have a positive impact on UEM Edgenta’s earnings and net assets per share for the financial year ending Dec 31, 2025 (FY2025).
For the financial year ended Dec 31, 2024 (FY2024), the company’s net profit jumped 66.34% to RM51.75 million from RM31.11 million in FY2023. Revenue rose 5.86% to RM3.05 billion, compared to RM2.88 billion previously. Earnings per share increased to 6.22 sen, up from 3.74 sen a year earlier.
UEM Edgenta, a UEM Group subsidiary, provides asset management and infrastructure solutions, including healthcare support, property and facilities management, expressway and rail maintenance, and project management and engineering design through Opus Consultants.
Shares of UEM Edgenta closed flat at 74.5 sen on Friday, valuing the company at RM619.6 million. The counter has declined 8.02% this year.
