KUALA LUMPUR (April 16): Main Market-listed Majuperak Holdings Bhd (KL:MJPERAK) has submitted an application to Bursa Malaysia for a further 12-month extension to submit its regularisation plan.

The application, filed on April 10, proposes a new deadline of April 11, 2026.

In a bourse filing on Wednesday, Majuperak said the outcome of the extension of time request will be announced once a decision is received from the exchange.

This follows an earlier extension granted by Bursa on Nov 1, 2024, which allowed the company a further six-month extension until April 11, 2025 to submit its regularisation plan.

Majuperak was classified as an affected issuer after triggering Paragraph 8.03A(2)(b) of Bursa Malaysia’s Main Market Listing Requirements.

The classification followed its unaudited financial results for the year ended Dec 31, 2019, which showed consolidated revenue of RM6.28 million — less than 5% of its RM179.59 million share capital — indicating insignificant business operations.

The group's portfolio includes property development and infrastructure, asset and facilities management, renewable energy, and trading and commercial ventures.

At the time of writing, Majuperak shares were down half a sen or 5.6% at 8.5 sen, valuing the group at RM24 million.
