KUALA LUMPUR (March 14): Mah Sing DC Hub@Southville City will have a dedicated 25km fibre trunk linking it to Cyberjaya, enhancing regional data centre connectivity and reinforcing its status as a key digital infrastructure hub.
The dedicated fibre trunk will provide high-speed, low-latency connectivity to Cyberjaya’s data hubs, which have direct fibre routes to Singapore. This link will facilitate access to Singapore’s cloud services, fintech ecosystem and global internet exchanges, enabling faster data transfers, improved redundancy and enhanced scalability.

The ceremony was officiated by Lionel and Front Connect Sdn Bhd (FCSB) CEO Mansor Mohd Kassim. Mah Sing’s founder and group managing director Tan Sri Leong Hoy Kum and FCSB director Sun Jian Wei were also in attendance.
Mah Sing DC Hub@Southville City offers immediate access to power, water and high-speed connectivity, providing a significant "speed to market" advantage for data centre operators.
FCSB, a licensed network facility provider, has been appointed as the custodian, operator and sales representative of the fibre trunk, which Mah Sing owns. The partnership will operate under a profit-sharing model, ensuring long-term growth and sustainability.
Strategically positioned near Cyberjaya’s data centre ecosystem, the dedicated fibre trunk will support future expansion needs. Mah Sing has also secured a secondary route through Fiberail’s network to enhance network stability.
The infrastructure will provide data centre operators with direct access to dark fibre, allowing them to deploy custom network solutions with unlimited bandwidth while ensuring redundancy and resilience. The connectivity to Cyberjaya’s data centre will establish Mah Sing DC Hub@Southville City as an international gateway for data centres in Johor and Singapore.
