This tour, which will be held on Feb 15 and 16, will centre around the theme of “Augmentic — Synergy of Augmentation in Architecture”.
The 15 selected buildings and sites include SAMA Square, Hotel Stripes, Moxy Hotel, Hyatt Centric, The Fifth Place @ The Five, +n by UR-MU, Saloma Bridge, PAM Centre, Wanaka the Bungalow, The Pallazio, Media City Angkasapuri, GDP Campus, Menara MAIWP (Majlis Agama Islam Wilayah Persekutuan), Wei-Ling Gallery, and Stadium Merdeka.
In his welcome address, PAM president Adrianta Aziz said, “SinggahKL has grown into a cornerstone event that showcases our city's rich architectural heritage. This year, we will take it further. Beyond admiring buildings, we aim to foster deeper connections through mental experiences. Architects and building owners will guide participants, sharing their design stories, technical breakthroughs, and creative processes behind these remarkable structures.
“This isn't just about celebrating, but it is about inspiring the next generation to pursue careers in our field, and highlighting the vital role we play in shaping a future that blends art, technology and sustainability,” he added.
Meanwhile, SinggahKL 2025 convenor Almaz Rahim urged the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture to take advantage of the tour. “We do hope that we get the attention of the ministry [as] this is an excellent way of promoting Kuala Lumpur as a tourist destination. Many of these buildings are not open to the public, and are not always available to explore.”
Organised by the PAM, SinggahKL was established in 2019. This year’s sponsors include the YTL group, Bostik Malaysia Sdn Bhd, Swissma Building Technologies Sdn Bhd, and W Atelier Sdn Bhd.
